Your questions about group stays, answered

Is La Maison Ralia a good venue for a bachelorette in Montreal?

Honestly, it was made for this. La Maison Ralia is a 10 bedroom boutique hotel in the heart of Le Plateau, with a private ground floor event space called Connections, a sauna, a terrace, and a full team that genuinely loves hosting groups of women. You and up to 19 of your closest people can take over the entire building, which means the bachelorette stays in one place. No splitting the group across hotels, no awkward lobby meetups, no logistics headaches. Just one beautifully designed home for the weekend, in a neighbourhood your friends will love arriving to.

Can we rent the whole building for a bachelorette weekend?

Yes, and this is genuinely our favourite way to host a bachelorette. When you book the full building, you get all 10 private suites sleeping up to 20 guests, the Connections event space on the ground floor for your group dinners or programming, plus access to the sauna and the terrace. It functions as your own private boutique hotel for the weekend, fully yours. Your guests each get their own ensuite room, the bride gets the suite she has been dreaming of, and the whole group has a beautiful shared space to gather without ever having to leave the building.

How many people can stay at La Maison Ralia for a bachelorette?

We sleep up to 20 guests across our 10 suites. Some rooms accommodate two guests comfortably, one is designed more for solo or cosy couple use. When you reach out, we will walk you through the room mix so you can match your guest list to the right configuration. Most bachelorette groups land somewhere between 10 and 20 people, which is the sweet spot for a full building takeover.

How do I get my bachelorette group on the same page and excited to come to Montreal?

We have helped a lot of maids of honour with exactly this, and the truth is, the venue does most of the work. Once you send your group photos of the suites, the sauna, the Connections space, and a few of our favourite Montreal vibe spots, the energy shifts. People stop asking logistics questions and start asking what they should pack. To make it easier, we provide a welcome packet you can forward to your group with the address, suggested arrival times, neighbourhood guide, what is included, and what to bring. You send one email, we handle the rest.

What is included with a bachelorette booking at La Maison Ralia?

For a full building bachelorette, you get all 10 suites with thoughtfully designed bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms, full kitchens in every suite, the shared sauna, the terrace, and priority booking of the Connections event space on the ground floor for an additional fee if you want to use it for a private dinner, fitness session, dance floor, or programming. Every booking includes a dedicated point of contact who helps you plan the weekend, plus a local cheat sheet of our favourite restaurants, cafes, spas, and experiences in the neighbourhood. If you want concierge add ons like a private chef, in suite massages, or a curated welcome gift bag, just ask when you book.

Can we host a bachelorette dinner or party on site?

Yes, and pairing the suites upstairs with a private bachelorette dinner downstairs is one of our most loved bookings. Connections seats up to 65 for a sit down dinner and welcomes up to 100 for a standing cocktail party, which means you can invite local friends to join the celebration on a specific night without needing a hotel room for everyone. We handle the setup, the audio visual, the glassware and dishes, and a venue manager is on site the whole time. You bring your decorations, your playlist, your caterer of choice, and the night runs itself.

Can I customize the experience for the bride?

Please do, this is exactly what we are here for. When you book our bachelorette planning services we can help you arrange in suite welcome gifts, a personalized room reveal for the bride, a private breakfast spread, a sauna and sound bath morning, an in house yoga class with our wellness lead, a private chef dinner at Connections, custom signage, or a curated playlist piped through our house sound system. The best bachelorettes we have hosted are the ones where the maid of honour told us early what the bride actually loves, and we built around that. Tell us who she is and we will help you make it feel like her.

What is the best Montreal neighbourhood for a bachelorette?

Le Plateau, and we are a little biased, but for good reason. La Maison Ralia sits at 4281 boulevard Saint-Laurent, which puts you steps from some of the best restaurants, natural wine bars, brunch spots, vintage shopping, and dance floors in the city. Your group can walk to almost everything, which means no Ubers, no scattered plans, no hunting for parking. The neighbourhood has its own energy, and it pairs beautifully with the more grounded, intentional feel of the building when you come home at the end of the night.

Do you have wellness offerings for a bachelorette weekend?

We do, and a wellness focused bachelorette is one of the most beautiful uses of this space. We can build in a private yoga or breathwork session at Connections, a sauna evening, in suite massages, a sound bath, a tarot or human design reading, or a guided morning walk. Some groups want one wellness moment to balance out a louder night, and some groups want the whole weekend to feel restorative. Either works here. Tell us where the bride is and we will shape the offerings around her.

Can we have a bachelorette spa day at the venue?

Yes. We have a private sauna in the building and we can coordinate in suite massage therapists, facialists, manicures, blowouts, and other beauty services for your group on the morning of, the afternoon before the big night out, or the slow Sunday wind down. It saves you the logistics of getting a group of 12 to a spa across town, and it keeps the energy of the weekend in one place. Let us know what your group is into and we will pull the right people together.

How early should we book a bachelorette weekend in Montreal?

For the full building, we recommend booking at least four to six months in advance, especially for spring, summer, and early fall weekends. Bachelorette season fills up quickly, and the bride often has a non-negotiable date. If you are flexible with your weekend, you have more room to play. If you have a fixed date in mind, reach out as soon as you can and book your date.

What is the typical schedule for a bachelorette weekend at La Maison Ralia?

Most groups arrive Friday afternoon, settle into their suites, and gather on the terrace or in one of the larger suites for a welcome dinner or cocktails. Saturday tends to be the big day, with a slow morning, a wellness moment in the late morning, lunch in the neighbourhood, an afternoon activity or spa session, and then the main bachelorette night out or a private dinner at Connections. Sunday is for brunch, reflection, and goodbyes. We will help you build the actual schedule based on your group, but this rhythm tends to land really well.

Can we bring our own food, drinks, and decorations?

You can bring your own food and decorations, absolutely. The full kitchens in each suite mean you can stock up for breakfasts, snacks, and casual meals without needing a caterer. For the Connections space, you are welcome to bring your own caterer or hire one of our trusted partners. The one rule we hold firm is that all alcohol served at events in Connections must be purchased on site through our permit, but in your private suites your group has full freedom. We will walk you through all of it on your planning call so there are no surprises.

Can the venue accommodate a bachelorette and bachelor party at the same time?

Yes, we have hosted mixed and co-ed celebrations and they have been beautiful. Some couples choose to bring both groups together for a Friday night welcome before splitting off, and some book the whole building as a couples weekend with their closest friends. Tell us what you have in mind and we will find the right fit.

How does pricing work for a bachelorette weekend?

Pricing depends on the season, the length of stay, the number of suites, and whether you want to add the Connections event space or any concierge upgrades. We are a boutique experience, not a budget option, but we are also genuinely transparent about what is included and why. The easiest way to get a real number is to share your dates, your group size, and a sense of what you are envisioning. We will send a clear quote within a couple of business days.

Can we book just one or two suites for a smaller bachelorette?

Yes. Not every bachelorette is a 20 person takeover, and a smaller group of four to eight in two or three suites is just as well loved a use of the space. You will share the building with other guests in that case, but each suite is fully private and the experience is still warm, intentional, and built for celebrating. Some smaller groups also book one or two suites and add a private dinner at Connections for the night of, which gives you the best of both worlds.

How do I book a bachelorette weekend at La Maison Ralia?

The easiest way is to lock in the dates at the hotel first. From there, we will set up a planning call, walk you through the building setup, talk through the ideas you are dreaming up, and put together a tailored proposal. We treat every bachelorette like the meaningful celebration it is, and we offer a premium planning process to take away the guess work and plan the perfect weekend.
